Visualizer Universe & Video Series
Twelve tracks, eleven lyric visualizers, and one 3D motion piece, built alongside the album's rollout, one release at a time. Every visual grows from the track's stems ; audio curves driving light, texture, and motion, so each song gets a visual space of its own.

Concept, Goals & Art Direction
The brief started with a simple question: how do you turn an album cover into a moving universe?
For the “Don’t Say Goodbye” video, the job was to extend the visual language Franck Marry had already built for the Alt Real album artwork, and turn it into a direction that could be reused, video after video, across the whole record.
The goal was a visual grammar flexible enough to become the visualizer language for every track on the album.

The album cover is built on how we perceive the reality. That tension shows up in the type, the imagery, and the color.
Typography
The lettering sits somewhere between softness and structure, part cotton candy, part bone. Organic curves rendered in stark black and white.
Visual lexicon & staging.
A world with blurred edges, built from simple geometric shapes and kept deliberately atmospheric.
Recurring motifs.
Celestial bodies like a moon or a sun, atmospheric forms that read as clouds, smoke, or something closer to a UFO, and a recurring liquid symbolism: raindrops, tears, or the band members’ silhouettes dissolving into shape.
Color.
Saturated, high-contrast color, red against cyan, used deliberately to push the image toward the uncanny.
Optics.
Focus, depth of field, and blur are pushed hard, so every shot feels slightly out of reach. Immersive, and a little disorienting. This is the DNA the video needed to carry forward: translating the artwork into motion, rather than simply illustrating it.
Audioreactivity
Every track goes through the same process: break it down by structure and lyrics, then let that breakdown shape the scene mapping and the overall atmosphere. The story comes from the song first, and the visuals follow.
The Visual Concept: "Emotional rollercoaster elevator"
A man is locked inside an elevator, lost in thought, and his thoughts materialize around him. The cabin and the landscapes outside react to the music in real time, and his silhouette shifts and evolves as the song unfolds.
Elevator is one of the rare real-world spaces that naturally fits a 9:16 frame. It frames the body, and the solitude, with surgical precision.
Unlike a train, which moves forward, an elevator only ever goes up and down. It never actually leaves the building. That makes it the perfect stage for a mind that can wander deep into a feeling, a song, a memory, without ever truly escaping it. The windows let landscapes drift past. The walls, the light, and the doors all become surfaces to play with: gravity, entrapment, speed, infinite loops.
Because it’s one flexible set, the concept scales across every track on the album.
A mental space made physical
A setting that embodies the highs and lows, the loop of rumination, the entrapment and the weight described in the lyrics.
The Alt Real aesthetic introduced
A sharp contrast between organic typography and a hazy, bokeh-heavy, saturated world: the new visual era of N U I T, made tangible.
Built to scale
A vertical, smartphone-native visual device, designed from the outset to become the connective thread running through every visualizer on the album.
The Elevator
Twelve tracks, one elevator, twelve different states of mind. Each film pushes the same visual system into a new emotional register.
Conclusion
What started as a single video became the connective tissue of the whole Alt Real era. One set and one visual grammar ended up carrying twelve distinct emotional journeys. The elevator concept held its own from track to track, while still giving each song room to shift the light, the pace, the gravity, the loop. Across the series, Franck Marry’s original art direction moved off the cover and into an audioreactive world that listeners could return to, release after release. I dreamed to create projects like this, and I’m deeply grateful to every member of the team for their trust, passion, and creativity.
