A Quick Note on Where Neoyume Is Heading

For a long time, neoyume tried to be everything at once: art direction for brands, music visuals, creative coding, side projects. It made the message blurry, for you and for me.

So I’m separating things.

Neoyume stays what it has always been at its core: art direction, 3D, motion and brand identity for brands, from Tokyo. If you have a brief, this is where we start.

Dessons (dessons.neoyume.com) now carries the music side: visualizers and lyric videos for independent artists and labels.

And the rest, Kanji Atlas, Dear Vegan Traveller and Lafuransu, are my own projects. They’re where I test ideas, learn new tools and build things I wish existed. Lafuransu is where it all started, and everything else grew from what it taught me.

Until the end of the year I’m treating these projects as experiments. I’ll look at what people actually use, and I’ll share what I learn in January.

If you have a project in mind, I’d love to hear about it: cedric@neoyume.com.
