Illustration & CG
Digital painting, 3D sculpture, procedural landscapes and generative art.
Digital painting, 3D sculpture, procedural landscapes, generative work. Some of it is commissioned. A lot of it exists because I wanted to see how far a technique would go.
Made from Tokyo, in Blender, Photoshop, Substance, Unreal and VR sculpting tools. Some pieces end up on covers or in campaigns, some become extended-reality artworks you can walk around in, and a fair number just teach me something or help me work out an idea. All of it is available for licensing, and commissioned work is quoted per project.

What this covers
- Digital painting and illustration: cover art, key art, editorial and fan work
- 3D sculpture and character design, including VR-sculpted pieces
- Procedural environments and landscapes built with geometry and shader nodes
- Generative and node-based experiments, including the Nodevember series
- Real-time and extended-reality artworks, built in Unreal Engine and other engines
- Print-resolution files, and the source scene where the licence calls for it
Indicative pricing
Indicative starting points for commissioned work.
- Commissioned illustration or cover artfrom €600
- 3D key art or a procedural environmentfrom €1,800
- Licensing an existing piecequoted per use
Ex-tax, invoiced in JPY at the invoice-date rate. Commissioned work is quoted per project.
How a project runs
- Reference and intentWhat the image is for, where it will be seen, at what size. A cover, a poster and an XR piece call for different drawings.
- Rough and directionSketches or grey-box renders to settle composition, palette and mood. Detail comes later, since it is expensive to redo.
- BuildPainted, sculpted, or grown from a node graph. Usually some combination of all three.
- Light and renderThe stage that decides whether the image reads at all. Lighting and look development done properly, at final resolution.
- DeliverFiles at the resolution and colour space the destination actually needs, print or screen.
Before you ask for a quote
Do you take commissions, or is this personal work?
Both, and one feeds the other. Much of this page is self-directed work made to find out what a technique can do, and commissions then build on setups that already exist, which is faster and usually better. Cover art, key art, editorial illustration and character work are all open for commission.
What does "procedural" mean here?
It applies to my 3D work and illustrations, mostly in Blender with geometry and shader nodes. A procedural piece is built on a node graph that spreads and arranges things in the scene from rules you can keep changing. In practice that means you can ask for a different variation late in the process, and the same setup can be reused for animation.
Can these become animation or XR?
Several already have. Pieces here have shipped as extended-reality artworks and as real-time environments in Unreal Engine, and 3D built for a still image often ends up driving a motion piece later on.
How do you use AI?
However suits your project. No AI is fine. Some AI is fine. If you already have ideas generated with AI and want me to work from them, we can talk it through. When AI is part of a client process, I run open-weight models locally (ComfyUI, Ollama), so nothing you send me leaves the studio and the energy cost stays well below cloud generation. Online assistants get used for research and translation, with logging and training disabled. Wherever it was used, I tell you.
Can I license an existing piece, or buy a print?
Existing artworks can be licensed, and commissioned work is quoted per project. Send the piece and the intended use through the contact page; an answer comes back inside 48 hours, Tokyo time.
